EL PASO COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT BOARD POLICY 3.03.04 APPOINTMENT The Board of Trustees, upon the recommendation of the President of the College, shall employ full-time administrative, faculty, professional support, classified, and other employees of the District, designating the duties, rights, and privileges of each employee or each class or group of employees subject to state and federal laws. In unusual circumstances, the President shall be authorized to commence temporary employment, consistent with the appropriate salary schedule pending the next meeting of the Board. No employment of full-time personnel shall become effective, however, until approved by the Board of Trustees.
