Matthew Odedokun – Technical Adviser, Debt Management Office, Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Matthew Odedokun had over a decade of his post-doctoral working experience teaching in universities and working in specialized research institutions in Africa and Middle-East. He was also once an economist with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Washington DC and lately, a Research Fellow and Project Director at the United Nations University, World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER), Helsinki, from where he took up his current assignment as a technical adviser at the Debt Management Office in the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He has written/edited books and published extensively in academic journals on international development issues, particularly on external debt and international development resource transfers.
