Dear Editor,
Please consider the paper Patterns Within The Collatz Sequence for possible publication
in the RHIT Mathematics Journal.
The work on the paper was completed during the summer (2000) of my junior year at the
University of Wyoming.
My name is Brian Gilbert, and I am currently a senior at the University of Wyoming.
The work on the paper was done as part of the McNair Scholars Program. My future
plans are to finish my bachelors, and then attend graduate school where I plan on
pursuing my Ph.D.
