NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Tenured Faculty Position in Nanotechnology at Associate or Full Professor Level NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY, BOSTON, MA The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering invites applications and nominations for a tenured faculty position beginning in September 2010 at the Associate or Full Professor level. Candidates with well established and internationally recognized research programs are sought to expand the department’s research efforts. The position is in the general area of Nanotechnology, preferably with an emphasis in mechanics. The successful candidate is expected to continue his/her externally funded research programs and to collaborate with our NSF funded Center for High-rate Nanomanufacturing. Excellence in teaching in both our undergraduate and graduate programs is also expected. Applications should include a detailed resume, along with a statement of research and teaching interests, and will be reviewed until the position is filled.
