Gender and Development/Feminist Political Economy The International Affairs Program at Northeastern University invites applications for a tenure-track professorship, at either the assistant or associate level, effective July 1, 2013, in the field of gender and development or feminist political economy. Applicants with a Ph.D. in disciplines including Economics, Demography, Political Science, Sociology, Geography, History and Feminist Studies are invited to apply. Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research methods, along with developing country/Global South expertise, is required. Experience in teaching, research and professional service should be commensurate with that expected in a research-oriented University in which there is a strong commitment to instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will be appointed jointly, with a tenure home in one of the disciplinary departments in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities.
