Dutch Level 4
Prerequisite for entry
For students who have a higher than intermediate knowledge of the language, who master
the vocabulary and all basic grammatical concepts and tenses, or those who have
completed Dutch Level 3+.
Term duration
10 x 2-hour classes.
Aims and Objectives
The aim of the course is to enable students to engage in more complex conversations.
Students should be able to communicate relatively fluently with Dutch natives in most
situations. They should also be able to convey their opinions regarding current issues.
Most grammatical topics have been covered in previous levels, so main focus in level 4 is on
conversation and comprehension.
