The Prolume Prismatic Luminaire has been designed and constructed
specifically for food processing industry environments. UL/cUL listed.
NEMA 4 watertight. Accepts up to 1300 PSI water spray cleaning. NSF
and FDA compliant. Ideal for mounting heights between 12-25', utilize the
Prolume for food processing facilities where ease of cleaning is required.
Luminaire housing and optical components may be quickly disassembled
for easy maintenance.

Die-cast mounting box is tapped
with an opening for 3/4” conduit.
Side access plate allows for quick
connections and easy installation.
The high-efficiency prismatic
acrylic refractor is sealed to the
ballast housing to prevent ingress
of water and dirt. Mounted to
the ballast housing with toolless
fasteners, the vertical prisms
provide a natural run-off under
high-pressure hosedown cleaning.
Twist and lock refractor door
allows for toolless removal. Sealed
and gasketed to exclude dirt and
moisture. Conical prism design
minimizes direct glare.
Housing
The heavy-duty, spun aluminum
housing is finished in a standard
white polyester powder coat. Other
finish colors available including an
anodized aluminum.
Soc ke t
Mogul-base porcelain socket. For
Metal Halide, protected socket is
standard, for use with “O” openrated, protected Metal Halide
lamps only.
B allast
High power factor ballast with
class H insulation. UL/cUL listed for
40°C (105°F) ambient temperature
operation. Minimum starting
temperature is -40°C (-40° F) for
High Pressure Sodium and -30°C
(-20° F) for Metal Halide. Pulse
Start Metal Halide systems are
also available in CWA and Linear
Reactor (277V only) configurations
for greater operating efficiencies.
