WAUKESHA, WI, February 11, 2010 - Cooper Power Systems, a division of Cooper Industries plc
(NYSE: CBE), today announced it has shipped more than 350,000 programmable communicating
thermostats (PCT) enabled with the company’s industry leading Cannon Demand Response solutions.
Since the launch of the ground breaking ExpressStat® and continuing with the UtilityPRO™ PCTs, more
electric utilities are turning to Cooper Power Systems than any other demand response provider to meet
their complex program requirements including Critical Peak and Time of Use Pricing, advanced cycling
or temperature ramping.
With communications choices such as a two-way ZigBee certified solution and various economical oneway options, utilities implementing a Cooper Power Systems Demand Response solution can be sure
