Cooper Wiring Devices Introduces Line of
Dimmable LED Nightlights
The only combination nightlight on the market that allows the user to set the light level is now available
from Cooper Wiring Devices.
PEACHTREE CITY, GA, July 25, 2011 – Cooper Wiring Devices introduces its line of Patrol™
Dimmable Combination Wallbox Nightlights, the only dimmable LED nightlights available that allow the
user to set the light level. Cooper Wiring Devices, a leading electrical wiring device manufacturer for
industrial, commercial and residential applications, developed three different dimmable combination
nightlight products including full nightlight, nightlight with a single pole switch, and nightlight with a
tamper resistant receptacle. Patrol dimmable combinations nightlights with LED lamps rated for 50,000+
hours lamp life are ideal for use in residential and commercial applications, including hotels, dormitories
and assisted living facilities.
The Patrol product line from Cooper Wiring Devices was designed to promote safety in way-finding
applications and low-light task illumination. The dimmable feature allows users to set the appropriate
level for the specific application and use. The nightlights feature a convenient light level sensor which
turns off the nightlight when there’s available daylight and on when light is insufficient. In addition to full
dimming, the nightlights feature 3 preset levels to easily match light levels when devices are mounted in
series. The nightlights are also constructed with patented built-in wire strippers and backed out terminal
screws that are ready for wiring.
The combination dimmable LED nightlight with tamper resistant receptacle provides the convenience of
a nightlight with the functionally of a receptacle. Ideal for a child’s bedroom, the combination
nightlight/receptacle features UL listed tamper resistant safety shutters that prevent the insertion of
foreign objects. The combination dimmable LED nightlight with single pole switch is ideal for bathrooms
and provides the same light control benefits with added switch functionality. The line also features a

dimmable full LED wallbox nightlight. Ideal for bathrooms, hallways, stairs and landings, the flush-mount
LED full nightlight provides added safety and features low wattage long lasting LED lamps that are
dimmable to the desired light level.
