ASPIRE RF Products Updated to Feature New Z-Wave Software and Provide
Enhanced Functionality
PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton today announced that
its line of ASPIRE RF products has been updated to include the new Z-Wave 4.54 software.
Ideal for residential and light commercial applications, the products are now able to take
advantage of improved connection and communications features designed to enhance and
simplify the overall user experience.
“Incorporating the latest version of Z-Wave technology makes it even easier for our end users
to take control over their home systems,” said T.J. Landrum, marketing manager,
Technology, Eaton’s Cooper Wiring Devices business. “Whether it’s adjusting settings to
save energy or double checking locks when away, this technology takes the complexity out of
home automation.”
Included in all dimmer and lighting control products, the new Z-Wave updates improve
connectivity and allow for network-wide inclusion and beaming support. Updates also allow
for improved overall network communications for seamless automation.
The newest portfolio of smart home products from the business, the ASPIRE RF wireless
product line, provides an array of whole home products to manage lighting, temperature,
audio and security. With control of more than 200 devices and interoperability with other ZWave products, ASPIRE RF provides the scalability to address small and large projects in
retrofit or new construction applications without the need for special wiring or rewiring.
