four gap, interlaced, ground-isolated core-type reactor minimizing
no-load losses, while providing superior ability to withstand surges.
Our low-loss design option, the most efficient voltage regulator
offered in the market, reduces losses by an additional 20%. Lowloss voltage regulators require less dielectric fluid and tank surface
area for cooling which saves in raw materials and shipping fuel.

arrester technology with the introduction of the Evolution surge

The Cooper Power Systems MagneX Interrupter is an
overcurrent protective device that protects distribution
transformers from damaging overloads and secondary faults.
As a transformer protective device, the MagneX Interrupter
combines safety and efficiency with economic operation. The
MagneX virtually eliminates load losses normally associated with
a secondary breaker. For a 50 KVA transformer unit, a traditional
low-voltage breaker results in 50 watts per hour of operation,
while the MagneX results in only a 2 watt loss per hour. These
negligible losses can result in cost and energy savings. Through
