Engineering Standing Application for
Computer Engineering (BSCOE)
Engineering Standing is mandatory for all students. Please refer to the University Bulletin “College of Engineering” section
for full details. Engineering Standing (is a prerequisite for senior and some junior-level engineering courses):
Student must achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better in the course sequence MA113, MA 114, MA 213, PHY 231, CHE
105, and CIS/WRD 110 (or equivalent transfer courses). Completion of EE 211, EE 280, CS 115 and CS 215 with a
minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in these courses. If engineering standing is not achieved, a student cannot receive the
BSCOE degree at UK.
