Problem Behavior Noncompliance Refusal Insubordinate Maintaining Consequence: Obtain or Avoid Avoid assignments, task, school HYPOTHESIS: Student engages in refusal and noncompliance when a person uses an authoritative stance in providing a directive in order to avoid a task or unstructured social interactions. This behavior is more likely to occur in Science, at the end of the day and she is tired when there is peer conflict.
