Due in class Th 10/21
For Essay II: BRING to class notes on at least 3 sources. By notes I mean Xerox copies,
typed notes, handwritten notes, including both source material and your own comments
and questions. Note that quotes, summaries/paraphrases and your own comments
should be clearly distinguished from each other.
We will work with these in class. We will also take some class time to hear questions
you’re having about your researching and writing Essay II.
Finally, we will spend some class time talking about what constitutes plagiarism and why
scholars care about it.
** Reminder: We will meet at 7:45 pm for our movie on 10/21. The movie will start at 8:00.
