DELETE paragraph C.
A. Provide the following within listed limitations.
1. Steel: ASTM A53 or A120, zinc-coated. Use of
pipe limited to mainline, from point of connection to a point
twenty (20') feet downstream of check valve.
2. Irrigation Mainlines: Up to 2 1/2” diameter, Schedule
40 PVC. For mainlines 3” and above, provide gasketed Class
200 PVC.
3. Polyvinyl Chloride: ASTM D1785, 1120, Schedule
80, to be used for threaded nipples on swing joint connections.
4. Polyvinyl Chloride: ASTM D1785, Schedule 40,
used for all other fittings
5. Drip Piping: Rainbird XBS Striped tubing or
approved equal, with matching accessories.
