The study is based on secondary data collected from the website of Bangladesh Bank and Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics and website of the sample companies. For the analysis the data of interest rates is organized month wise against every year to compare the rate of interest among banking companies and non-bank financial institutions more precisely. The study result revealed that the interest rate of different banking and non-bank financial institutions differs from month to month and also from company to company. It is found that the interest rate is given by non-bank financial an institution is higher than that of banking organizations.
