Proceedings of Global Business and Finance Research Conference 5-6 May, 2014, Marriott Hotel, Melbourne, Australia, ISBN: 978-1-922069-50-4 Mobile Wireless Internet-based Global M-Finance Strategy Qing Zeng1 , William Q. Tsing 2 and Yilin Zeng3 The paper explores a novel global financial strategy—mobile financial services (MFS) based on the next generation mobile wireless Internet. Our analyses indicate that MFS will bring radically change to trading, regulatory models, security regime, taxation management etc. It is not only a revolution of the financial system itself and one of the effective means for promoting social reform and building an efficient government. China’s case shows that the mobile finance strategy can greatly promote government transparency and national reform through real-time cross-border transactions, and play a positive role in many aspects such as crack down on the crime of international finance among countries, prevent the officials and executives’ corruption and capital flight, and even promote the authoritarian country toward democratic politics.
