To maintain keeping biomedical engineers on top of readiness to perform their roles properly , it is important to provide them with the latest knowledge and expertise , and inform them of the best experiences and practices , and sharpen up their skills with the latest tools and techniques , to maintain these equipments and devices in the best possible condition through effective training and continuous that will leads to serve the needs of patients in hospitals. This study addresses the reality of training of biomedical engineers in Saudi Arabian hospitals and expectations of having appropriate training ; thus will includes the importance of training biomedical engineering , and types of training programs , and its strategies in recent developments in the relevant fields to their job and duties, and a presentation of some of the experiences and good international practice in this area , and then highlight the fact practical for this type of training in Saudi Arabian hospitals and its various applications , and the mechanisms used in the programs and plans , and a presentation of some of the experiments carried out by the local hospitals, and assess the reality of these plans to achieve the goals set for them.
