1. Section 2 Form 6 E-Verify Certification: We have more than 25 employees, but as
our solution is web-based, would this form apply to us since we will not be physically
performing the work in North Carolina?
Answer: Yes the form applies because the company has more than 25 employees,
however because the company does not employ workers in NC, there is no requirement
to verify work authorization through the E-Verify federal program. Select ‘Yes’ and
indicate that the 25 employees are not employed in North Carolina and will not work
within the state, therefore items 3 and 4 do not apply.
2. Section 2 Form 4 Pricing Sheet: The form shows places for pricing of years 1-3 but
according to Exhibit A, section 6 the contract term is a base period of 3 years with (2)
one year terms. Where would we price those additional one-year terms?
Answer: Should the City choose to exercise renewal options, pricing will be negotiated,
agreed upon and documented as part of a formal amendment to the original contract.
3. Will the procurement office be open to accept proposals on Monday November 11, a
Federal holiday (Veterans Day)?
Answer: Yes.
