ADDENDUM NO. 1 Charlotte Douglas International Airport Furniture Purchase Addendum # 1dated 1/15/2016 This Addendum is hereby made a part of the contract documents and specifications of the above referenced project. All other requirements of the original plans and specification shall remain in effect in their respective order. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum by inserting its number and date on the cover page of your proposal. Bid document has been revised, per addendum # 1. 1/15/2016 in order to be valid. The format of question and response has been retained to assist the Bidders in identifying the responses to each of their specific issues. Changes to the contract documents noted here have the same effect as those changes listed otherwise in this addendum. Page 1 of 2 Question Number: 01 Question/Answer: In the bid for furniture for the airport center, can the furniture for phase 1-3 be delivered directly to the airport center to wait for installation? Answer: Yes. 02 Can you tell us approximately when you expect the first installation(s) of Phases 1-3 to take place? Example: March 1st for phase 1-2, April 15 for phase 3, June 1 for phase 4... Answer: The ESTAMTED dates are: Phase 1 April 2016, Phase 2 July, Phase 3 October 03 Will we be able to invoice each phase as it is installed? Or wait until all is completed before invoicing in full? Or is each phase going to have its own PO# Answer: You can invoice as work is completed and delivered 04 The lines for Non-Eligible Sales Taxes on p.6, I assume we total up the product costs from pages 4-5, and simply add 7.25% tax on that total product cost in that field ? But, on p.8, are we supposed to separate out State / Local county taxes ? Answer: The bid form is correct. Page 8 is the example of what sales tax statement you will submit with your invoice. 05 Office Source has discontinued PL128. The new replacement is PL36R/PLWXB3642. Can we bid this instead? Answer: yes, however, the requested color must remain the same. Table should be 36” Round. 06 Will furniture drawings be available that will show us the layout of the offices? Also, can we have an AutoCAD file to place the furniture accurately in place? Answer: sorry, no drawings are available during the bid process. 7 Do you accept substitutes/alternates that meet the requested furniture specs? Answer: No 8 Is the 2nd line item under Phase 3 (listed as PFT2472) supposed to be PFT72, which would be a table base? Answer: yes, that is a typo It should read PFT72.
