1. The Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Research – foreign policy
The Center is run by a former minister of foreign relations who negotiated agreements with Russia about
troop withdrawal and pipeline developments.

2. Wings and Freeman Capital LLC – business, financing, energy
WFC is a privately owned financial advisory firm with a special focus on structuring the financial
transactions involving International Financial Institutions (IFIs). WFC has sector specific focuses in
renewable resources/energy, education, manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, and transportation/logistics.
Potential projects for interns include researching energy trading in Russia, Georgia, and Turkey; fundraising
for hydropower development; and other OPIC related projects.

Position: (1); Intern will be involved in several ongoing projects (depending on the skills and qualifications
of the graduate) covering various sectors, such as healthcare sector, franchising, etc.
Preferred Skills: Linguistic, communication, and regional studies in the Black Sea, Caspian Sea or Russian
Studies; an understanding of economics and/or international economics, business administration, finance,
audit

3. Transparency International Georgia – research, human rights, law
Transparency International Georgia (TI Georgia) was established as a local non-governmental organization
committed to combating corruption in Georgia through the promotion of transparency and accountability.
Our mission is to serve as the primary source of information on corruption reform in Georgia, to assist the
Georgian government and the broader public in facilitating reform in sectors where corruption exists, to
build and strengthen institutions and to promote good governance. In recent years, TI Georgia has become
Georgia's leading advocacy-based think tank.

Positions: (2); Interns may assist with conducting research in economic and political fields
Preferred Skills: Be detail-oriented and organized; be a motivated self-starter who works well both in a
team and on their own; have a strong command of basic computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel,
Internet research) and typing skills; be completion-oriented; have solid communication skills; have a solid
understanding of TI-G’s mission and mandate. Additionally, candidates should have a strong interest in
issues related to transparency, accountability and anti-corruption.
Dates and Hours: Minimum of 6 weeks, Monday – Friday, 10am-6pm with one hour lunch.
