EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
At the end of the activity, participants should be able to:
• Discuss toxic/metabolic and white matter disorders and utility of
DWI in their evaluation
• Describe an approach to analyzing and interpreting abnormalities in
the neck
• Review pediatric and adult head trauma
• Search for and recognize incidental cardiac abnormalities encountered
on routine chest CT to improve diagnostic accuracy
• Develop a simple approach to interstitial lung disease for improved
patient management
• Compare the effectiveness of cardiac MRI with coronary CT in the
diagnosis of coronary heart disease
• Select appropriate imaging modality and imaging appearance of various
pathological conditions affecting the liver
• Interpret the imaging features and complications of gastric bypass surgery
• Define the CT patterns of bowel wall thickening
• Recognize imaging complications of total joint arthroplasties
• Review of normal variants encountered on MRI and common
non-traumatic musculoskeletal abnormalities along with updates on
newer techniques and conditions
• Review of commonly encountered musculoskeletal injuries specific for
the growing skeleton
• Identify and localize cancer using tomosynthesis in the screening and
diagnostic settings
• Use diagnostic evaluation techniques for nodal and breast biopsy
• Review the use of MRI in breast disease

will be sent within two weeks after

increase after August 28, 2016.
