Castaldo is the artistic director of The Garden, a workshop programme intended for professional actors, newcomers to the world of theatre, and any individuals interested to experience theatrical activity through practice. The Workshop The practical workshop will focus on musical elements including rhythm, tempo, and song and how these can be utilized in theatre, including the construction of dramaturgies for performance. Musicality in theatre is a relatively recent area of scholarship and research within the context of theatre and performance studies framed around the interdisciplinary nature of the performing arts. The workshop aims at familiarizing participants with different approaches and exercises that promote an idea of relationality in performance making processes.
