Patient Care Technical Unit (EX) Lump Sum Payment
Active bargaining unit employees will receive a one-time lump sum payment as stipulated in
the contract based on 3% of the sum of eligible earnings for the period between April 1, 2013
and March 31, 2014. This lump sum is retirement eligible and all appropriate taxes and
UCRP contributions will be deducted from the payment. To be eligible, employees must be in
the Patient Care unit or on an approved leave on the date of the contract ratification (3/28/14)
and on the date of payment. The lump sum is scheduled to be paid on August 27, 2014 as
part of the regular biweekly pay check, designated as “LSP”.
Payments should be available for employees to view next week in the earnings statement on
UC Net’s At Your Service on-line at https://atyourserviceonline.ucop.edu/ayso/
