WHEREAS THE UNIVERSITY RECOGNISES the significant contribution made by
Ban Ki-moon
who serves the community of nations with total commitment to ensure the
maintenance of international peace and security;
Whose visionary leadership is ensuring that the United Nations Organization remains
the world’s primary forum for the development of international co-operation in
solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, environmental, or
humanitarian character;
Whose efforts to protect present and future generations from the negative effects of
climate change have ensured that it is the common concern of humankind;
THIS UNIVERSITY ACCLAIMS HIM a meritorious candidate for the Degree of
Doctor of Laws (Honoris Causa) of this Alma Mater;
Now therefore, by virtue of the powers vested in us by the Law and Statutes
