Create your own DNA! In PowerPoint use the shapes on the next slide to create a double-stranded piece of DNA that is five base pairs in length. The structure should correspond to the model put forward by Watson and Crick. You can move the pieces off the white slide by dragging and dropping with your mouse. To make more parts simply copy and paste the pieces. You can then create your DNA strand on the white slide. When you have finished, work out which parts of the DNA you have created correspond to the boxed labels. Work with a partner to take turns in explaining these labels.
