A. Executive Officers
President: Charlotte Achen – The Senate did a wonderful job with the SAC Event. I heard there was a large turn out. In terms of
Senate Grade Eligibility, Flor has told us that this is the first time that a Senate has not had a senator removed because of
unsatisfactory grades. So, congratulations to this Senate.
Vice President: Laura Hunerberg – I would like to recognize and congratulate Abby, Tana, Aimee and everyone else that
participated with the SAC Event. I heard nothing but great things, and being that this is the first time in Cabrillo history that a
talent show was held, the success is something to celebrate and recognize. Also, remember to petition for graduation, the deadline
is next week.
Treasurer: Darwin Constantino
Legislative Representative: Aimée Cornett – I want to appreciate and thank the SAC Event Committee for their organization and
success of putting on a great event. We hope that this will be an annual event.
Student Trustee: Cedar Green - Remember that the deadline for senate applications is next week, so we should encourage our
peers to apply.
Inter-Club Council Chair: Devin Monahan – The ICC met yesterday, and 2 new clubs have chartered. Basically the entire
meeting we discussed Bylaws and Parlimentary procedures.
Watsonville Representative: Abbygale González – I want to thank Darwin, Tana, Amiee, and Flor because you all went above
and beyond with the SAC Event.

Flor Chacòn – The Senate is doing amazing things. The SAC Event was a huge success and everything went well because the
strong teamwork and commitment you all have for each other. On another note, the popcorn machine in the storage room needs
to be moved. I’m proposing to move the machine out to the club room, so that clubs can use the machine. The popcorn machine
is taking up to much space in the storage room, so it needs to be moved. Let me know if anyone has a better idea. Also, elections
are coming up so let’s prepare for that. Also, the Social Justice Conference, and Running Start are coming up so let’s keep that in
mind and try to recruit volunteers.

Discussion of Senate
The Senate is doing really well and continues to excel.
The Senate could focus more on elections since they are coming up.
Executive officers should encourage more people to get involved.
Taking stacks of senate handouts to classrooms will help students know about elections.
In terms of the popcorn machine some standards and discussion needs to be done.
For example, were would supplies be kept, and how would they be given to students.
Also, how will accountability and maintenance be provided for the popcorn machine.

Flor Chacòn – I want to recognize the mentor program that the Senate started. The program has been very successful and effective.
The program builds strong communication and reliability amongst one another because it helps individuals be heard and engaged.
Senators wont feel left out and I notice the impact and in terms of unity, so kudos to the Senate for establishing a great program. Also,
I want to mention that I am seeing a lot of interest in the emissary program that you started. Students have already started applying.
Great job!!!
