Felix Damiba is Independent Consultant and an authority on
telecommunications in Africa. With over 20 years of experience in the
satellite communications industry, his range of expertise covers active
role in supporting the modernization of telecommunication and
broadcast networks, developing initiatives and proposals. New
technology implementation were proposed or implemented to more
than 50 countries around the world.
Prior to his position as independent consultant, Felix was Managing
Director at ABS, Director of Sales at Comtech EF Data and Group
Director of Intelsat’s Sales Engineering and Technical Services. His
tenure at Intelsat included building customer relationships by
educating them on the latest technology and helping them construct
satellite networks and services that met their needs.
Felix holds an Executive MBA from Loyola College, Maryland and a
Master Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the
Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest, Romania. He has authored and
presented papers at numerous international conferences, seminars
and workshops on various issues in telecommunications and
information technology.
