Entire area used to be a 400 car asphalt parking lot.
A 400,000 gallon underground detention tank collects water from 17 acres.
All water is stored, filtered and distributed to other parts of the zoo. Zero
water leaves the site.

 Net Zero energy use thru energy management and a 30.6 kilowatt
solar array.
 Net Zero water use thru water management and an on-site water
treatment system.
 Zero use of hazardous plastics and other “red listed” materials.
