DIY waste at Main Recycling Centre
Plus sites
There are eight Main Recycling Centre Plus sites
(Caister, Dereham, Hempton, Ketteringham, King’s
Lynn, Mayton Wood, Mile Cross and Thetford)
across Norfolk which provide additional services.
The ‘Pay as You Throw’* service, allows you to
dispose of unlimited amounts of DIY waste above the
concessionary 80 litres. Charges apply, dependant
on the material and amount of waste you bring.
Pre-sort your waste before you visit to get cheaper
prices. Plasterboard must be separated or it will not
be accepted. When you arrive on site please report
to the site hut where your load will be assessed
by site staff and charged accordingly. A guide to
prices, starting from a single item charge, can be
found online at www.norfolk.gov.uk/diywaste
*Price will be dependent
upon volume of DIY
waste relative to the
above charges.
Payment can be
made using cash
or credit/debit card.
