I am directed to say that vide this Departments1 Notification
of even number dated 12th August, 2004, the. proviso inserted in the.
Himachal Pradesj1 Civil Services (Re'"ised Pay) Rules, 1998 after sub
clause (ii) of clause (c) of Rule~3 vide Notification No. Fin(PR)8(7)~li98
dated 21st.November, 98 and 16th July, 1999, has been deleted being a
redU:1dant provision, based on a similar notification issued in Punjab..
Claif:ications from various quarters are being sought on the
following points:
1. Whether th~ intention of the Notification dated 12th
August, 2004 is to delink NPA for the purpose of payment:
a)f Dearness Allowance.
2. Whether the Dearness Allowance to Doctors would be~
admissible on f\!PA after 12.&0
August, 2004.
In this connection it is clarified that neither the Deame~,
A1!o\'\Janceilor tiny' other al!o\J\/anceincluding NPAis admissible under th(~
!-linlacnai Pradesh Civii Services (Revised Pay) Rules: 1998 applicab!E~
