required a quality water for health reasons. Examples of these stakeholders are hospitals and people on
dialysis machines.
Expectations and concerns of industry
Industry uses a high percentage of water. Industries expect that water will be available when they
require it. Their concerns are about:
 quality of their water supply
 cost of their water
 issues are resolved promptly
 they are kept informed about water quality in their area.
Expectations and concerns of health authorities
Health authorities expect that they can carry out their functions, without having to worry about the quality
of their water supply. They expect that water will not impact on the health of their patients.
