Read more here: http://www.sacbee.com/2013/08/08/5633657/paths-education-worldwide-receives.html#storylink=cpy The Penn State IRB recently announced a new Reportable New Information standard operating procedure (SOP) for submitting information on new or increased risks to participants, harms experienced, audit reports, failure to follow the IRB-approved protocol, and other applicable information—it will be implemented as of August 19, 2013. The new SOPs for Reportable New Information replace the previous “SOP Addendum for Reporting and Review of Unanticipated Problems Involving Risks to Participants or Others” and “Unanticipated Problem” SOPs. Penn State's third annual Conference on Child Protection and Well-Being is scheduled for May 5-6, 2014, at the Nittany Lion Inn on the University Park campus. The two-day conference will focus on "Parenting, Family Processes and Intervention" and feature presentations and panel discussions from top researchers in the field.
