The HHD Alumni Society’s Small Projects Grant program provides students and faculty with
an additional source of funding for projects that benefit the University community and/or
enhance students’ experiences in HHD/Nursing. This includes: graduate student research not
pertaining to a thesis or dissertation, and projects that promote collaboration among students
and faculty. For more information: http://hhd.psu.edu/alumni/awards/smallprojectgrants.html
Maureen Ittig is teaching a one-credit graduate-level qualitative methods course in HDFS:

For more information, contact her (mpi2@psu.edu).
The Research Institute on Addictions (RIA) at the University of Buffalo has postdoctoral
opportunities for graduating doctoral students. RIA’s interdisciplinary postdoctoral program
offers specialized training in the etiology and course of alcohol use and misuse, and treatment
for alcohol use disorders. If interested, contact Kenneth E. Leonard or R. Lorraine Collins.
A new section on intellectual property policies and guidelines has been added to the Policy
section of GURU, entitled "Intellectual Property Policies and Guidelines." To minimize difficulty
in locating the appropriate policy, these policies have been moved from their previous locations
in the Research Administration or Administrative sections and placed in their own section.
Questions about these policies or guidelines may be directed to the Office of the Vice President
for Research and Dean of the Graduate School. https://guru.psu.edu/policies/#INTELLECTUAL
