Emphasis is placed on hands-on experience with manual labor biotechnical erosion control techniques, with students taking part in actual erosion control projects. NOTE: COURSE OUTCOME/OBJECTIVES: List the primary Instructional objectives of the class. Formulate some of them in terms specific measurable student accomplishments, e.g., specific knowledge and/or skills to be attained as a result of completing this course. The pamphlets and handouts are not at a college level; however, they are very satisfactory for this class. These reading materials have been used successfully for two years. The instructors evaluate them as functional and useful to the students.
