PREPARATION 3 hours lecture per week 6 weeks total Education 225 0 units Prerequisite: 18 or older Description of the course: Will cover the basics in math, English, reading, geography and science in preparation for taking the G.E.D. test. B. C. Objectives of the course: To review basic skills and build confidence in preparation for the G.E.D. test. Organization of the course: 1. Textbook: ADULT EDUCATION ENGLISH/MATH REVIEW WORKBOOK Youth Education System. 2. Supplementary materials: Peace Corps material, adult education handbook, handouts. 3. Examinations: G.E.D. test at the end of the course. 4. Assigned work: workbooks, written assignments. 5. Type of presentation: lecture, discussion. 6. Recommended class size: no limit. 7. Evaluation: G.E.D. test D. Special notes to counselors: This course is designed for those students wishing to take the G.E.D. test. Students must be 18 or older in order to take the test.
