For Immediate Release – Lawton, OK, June 1, 2004 Cameron professor to be interviewed about film An interview with Cameron University associate communication professor Dr. Matt Jenkins will air this Sunday on KTOK-AM. Jenkins will be interviewed about his award-winning documentary, “Pray’s Passion.” The documentary chronicles the story of Glenn Pray, president and owner of the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Company in Broken Arrow. “Pray’s Passion” was named the best documentary in the 2004 Bare Bones International Film Festival and will be shown next week at the deadCENTER Film Festival. Oklahoma City listeners can hear the interview at 8 p.m. June 6 by tuning in to KTOK on AM-1000. As a member of the CU faculty Jenkins has earned the prestigious “Hackler Award for Teaching Excellence.” His documentary credits include “Historical Treasures, Stories of Our Past: The U.S.S. Nautilus,” a documentary covering the first nuclear powered submarine to cross beneath the North Pole. The documentary premiered at the Greenwich International Film Festival. “Pray’s Passion” will be screened at 1 p.m. June 12 at the Stage Center in Oklahoma City.
