Celebrate the Creed through EYE on FYE! Practice personal and academic integrity… Respect the dignity and rights of all people… Demonstrate concern for others and live up to my community responsibilities… Engage myself in the arts, culture and intellectual life of my university… Celebrate and take pride in Western Carolina University… These are the key elements to the Community Creed at Western Carolina University. Every student at Western is expected to follow and practice this creed and invest in it fully. So we are giving each and every one of you the opportunity to demonstrate your excellence through this year’s annual EYE on FYE contest. As you contemplate the WCU Community Creed, we invite you are to creatively express yourself and submit poetry, videos, musical compositions, artwork, creative writing, essays, photography, or however you would like to demonstrate how you live up to the Creed. You may submit your entry individually, or work with other students. Student organizations are also encouraged to submit entries. Awards will be made on April 27th at the EYE on FYE Celebration.
