THEORECTICAL AND APPLIED SCIENCE
The outstanding student in BIOLOGY goes to CHELSEA GRAMA.
Chelsea is a member of the Beta Beta Beta Biology, Sigma Xi, Omega, Alpha Lambda
Delta, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars honors societies. She served in
leadership roles with Golden Key International Honor Society and the Ramapo College
Honors Program.
Chelsea presented research work at the 2014 Northeast Regional Honors Council
conference in Niagara Falls, NY, the 2013 TAS Student Research Symposium, the
2014 Senior Honors Poster Presentation, and represented Ramapo College at the 2012
Golden Key International Honor Society Convention in Atlanta, Georgia.
During 2012 -13, Chelsea was the Department of Biology Undergraduate Research
Fellow in which she investigated the effects of genetic variance and patterns of both
naturally and artificially induced polyploidy in the plants through mutagenesis and EMS.
Chelsea will be attending medical school in the fall.
