Devin McGinley. Devin is a superb researcher and an elegant writer whose
research papers are models of clarity and insight. His academic talents have
garnered recognition beyond Ramapo; he was selected for a highly competitive
internship with the Margaret Sanger Papers Project at New York University in
Spring 2011, and, last summer, he won a coveted summer scholar award from
the Gilder Lehrman Institute for American History. Beyond the classroom, Devin
served as a History Tutoring Fellow, helping other students succeed in their
academic endeavors. Devin is the recipient of the best essays awards from our
School this year.
Future Goals: Devin plans to pursue graduate studies in social science after a year
of travel and work
