Section 4: Assess the risk and record actions

What happens next?

When the User has completed the assessment you

(DSE Assessor) will receive an e-mail a) A DSE User has completed their Self

Assessment and their record has been automatically validated

OR b) A DSE User has completed their self-assessment checklist and a further risk assessment is required

The e-mail message will summarise the issue that the User has identified in the checklist

Carry out an assessment

• Arrange to visit the User and assess their workstation

Record corrective actions

Click the assessment number (located below the Users name)

Complete the assessment

1. Add comments and any corrective actions you have made or recommended

2. Tick the relevant status box
