Reporting Personnel Actions to the Board of Trustees
1. Types of Board Reports
a."Routine" Board Report - The routine board report is numbered PSD
#1 for each meeting of the Board of Trustees.
b. "Non-routine" Board Reports are assigned a number by the Division
of Human Resources.
c. Determination of "routine" or "non-routine" is based on the type of
action and the position of the employee.
2. Position of Employee
a. Group I Positions
(1) All certificated positions on the Master Salary Schedule at
the level of President and above.
(2)
All classified positions at or above the schedule level for
“Director” classifications.
(3)
Any position for which a salary rate has not be established.
b. Group II Positions - Group II positions are positions other than
above.
3. Actions on Group I Positions
a. Routine
(1) Limited (acting, limited, and substitute status) elections and
terminations of such assignments except substitute or acting
President, which is always non-routine.
(2)
Probationary elections for which simultaneous classified
service resignations are being processed (for purposes or
return privileges).
(3)
Change of locations.
(4)
Leaves other than sabbatical.
(5)
Return to duty.
(6)
Suspensions other than disciplinary.
