Creating a Test from a Pool
This handout will assist you in creating a new Test from a question pool that has already been created.
From any Content Area within your
course, click on Assessments, then
Test.
The Create Test page will open. Click
Create.
The Test Information page will open.
Enter the Name. The Description and
Instructions are optional information.
Then click Submit.
The Test Canvas page will open. Click
Reuse Questions, and then Create
Random Block.
The Create Random Block page will
open. Click the Pool down arrow and
select the Pool. Then select the
Question types you wish to add.
Click Submit.

You will be returned to the Test
Canvas page. Edit the Number of
Questions to display.
To Edit the Points per question, click
the Points per question text box,
(located on the right hand side of the
page above the questions). Enter the
points, and then click Submit.
Scroll to the bottom of the Test
Canvas page and click OK.
