Speech-to-Text Captions
The Speech-to-Text feature automatically creates captions from voice narration in your recording.
Click the Captions tab. If the Captions
tab is not visible, click More and select
Captions.
The Captions pane will open.
Click the Speech-to-text button.
The Speech-to-Text dialog will appear.
For more accurate speech-to-text
transcription of your audio recording,
go through the voice training
tutorials. To do this click Start voice
training.
Click Continue.

Transcribing will begin.
The captions are placed in the Caption
Pane and on the time line.
Double-click a caption to open it in the
Captions pane for editing.
You must proofread all the captions
and edit for accuracy. You must also
add capitalization and punctuation.
* In order to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards set forth by the U.S. Department of Justice in
2010, videos must include closed captioning or have an accompanying text-based script.
