EECS 500 Alternative Arrangements Certification
For students entering Fall 2012 or after: All Ph.D. students are required to register for and pass EECS 500 Electrical Engineering
and Computer Science Colloquium for a total of three semesters of the Ph.D. Program, and this is expected before Advancement to
Candidacy. (This is a 0 credit hour required course.) Students (such as students working in industry) may propose an alternative
arrangement for fulfilling this requirement, by submitting a written petition to the Graduate Studies Committee."
