Each course should be considered as if it were being proposed for the first time. 2. At the beginning of the year the General Education Committee will determine which groups to be reviewed and establish the appropriate subcommittees and timelines. Normally subcommittees shall be chaired by a member of the General Education Committee with members from the appropriate disciplines. Subcommittees shall consist of 3-5 members. 3. The Committee Chair will communicate with each unit, given a list of courses to be reviewed. Ask each unit if it wishes to withdraw any courses from general education. 4. The Registrar will provide a list of dormant courses.
