4TH GRADE
CURRICULUM
Dublin City Schools has been using “The Workshop Model” for
many years. This is simply an instructional model where students
are given direct instruction in a mini lesson. They are then given
time to practice the skills and concepts covered in the mini
lesson. During this time, the teacher is monitoring students’ work
and meeting with students individually or in small groups to meet
their specific needs. At the end of the working time, students
often have a chance to share out their experiences and learning.
