What we are learning this week:
Reading
o
We will
continue to
talk about
what to put
in our book
bins while
book shopping
in our
library. We
will also
browse some
non fiction
and author
collections.
Writing
o
In writing,
we will be
taking a look
at successful
blogs in order
to talk about
how to
comment and
give
appropriate
feedback to
others. We
will practice
paper
blogging and
commenting
on others’
work.
Word Study
o
This week we
will look at
our Friday
letters home
and talk
about
mechanics
such as
punctuation,
capitalization
, and
alignment on
the page.

solving tasks.
We will be
talking about
what it
challenging
and what to
do when
something is
hard.
Science

Students will
participate in
a variety of
activities in
order to
discuss
matter and
properties of
solids, liquids,
and gasses.
