Product development includes researching the needs of customers and designing goods or services or both that meet these needs or that solve customer problems. Pricing is not only concerned with costs but also with the product’s position among its competitors. Promotion includes personal selling, advertising, sales promotions, and public relations. Distribution consists of designing and managing a system to bring products to customers.
