Engineering Standards Benchmarking COP Survey Developer Task Team Position Description Updated on 7-Feb-12 Engineering Standards Benchmarking COP Overview: The goal of the Engineering Standards Benchmarking COP is to improve the processes for creation/approval/maintenance and use of corporate engineering standards and specifications in the pharmaceutical industry. The COP also considers the hierarchy of documents, variance processes, and alignment on how A/E firms use standards and specifications. The expected benefits include consistently approaching project delivery, effectively using limited resources, leveraging outside resources, and ensuring cGMP and EHS requirements Position Purpose and Objectives: The purpose of the Survey Developer Task team is to create the Benchmarking tools to gather the data and share among the COP. Appointed by: Steering Committee Responsibilities of this Position: The Logistics Task Team will be responsible for taking the topics identified by the Steering Team and developing the methods to gather the data. The creation, delivery to the survey platform, and execution of the Benchmarking survey will be the responsibilities of this team. Skills/Experience Requirements for this Position: o o o o o Skilled at using Excel to analyze data, and presenting results in graphical format. Member of the ESB COP and familiar with the Mission and Goals. Works with or has worked with Standards in their corporation. An overall knowledge of ISPE’s products and services is required. A member who is a regular consumer of ISPE’s products and services. Leadership position in local chapters is a plus. Length of Service: 1 Year Additional Details (optional): Monthly teleconference Meetings + significant time analyzing or preparing to survey and gather data from the COP Time Commitment: Approximate hours per month: 1 to 5 Hours Work will be intermittent regular regular with peaks requiring additional effort.
